OceanVeil has officially announced that it will produce an English dub for Nukitashi the Animation, the 2025 anime adapted from the controversial adult visual novel. The move marks a big step in bringing one of the boldest titles of the year to international audiences who prefer localized audio.
Story Synopsis
Nukitashi the Animation is based on Qruppo’s 2018 adult visual novel Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka? (commonly shortened to Nukitashi).
The story takes place on Seiran Island, a society ruled by the harsh “Pervert Law” that enforces sexual activity as a civic duty. At its center is Junnosuke Tachibana, a young man who rejects these oppressive laws. Alongside his sister Asane and a small resistance group called NLNS (No Love No Sex), he risks everything to fight for freedom and dignity in a society that strips individuals of choice.
The anime blends satire, eroticism, drama, and rebellion—challenging traditional boundaries in storytelling.
