The fantasy isekai series Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time will continue its adventure. Following the conclusion of its first season in March 2025, the production committee has confirmed that a second season is on the way. Story Synopsis

The anime adapts Kogitsunemaru’s light novel series, illustrated by Hitogome, and follows Takumi Iruma, a man accidentally summoned to a new world in place of a hero. Offered any skill of his choice, Takumi selects the “creation” ability, which blossoms into extraordinary power when applied through alchemy. What starts as a practical choice evolves into a journey of invention, magic, and survival, as he reshapes the world around him with his talent.


Announcement Details

The official news of Season 2 was announced on September 11, 2025. The reveal confirmed that the anime will continue, but no release window or trailer has been shared yet.

The first season aired from January to March 2025 with 12 episodes, establishing Takumi’s story and world. Fans can now look forward to more alchemic adventures when the continuation arrives.
