<p>Romantic comedy fans won’t have to wait long for more twists in <em>There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless…</em>. The series has confirmed a brand-new sequel that will not only continue the story but also hit the big screen in Japan this November.</p>

<p>Based on Teren Mikami’s light novel series (<em>Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wake Naijan, Muri Muri!</em>), the anime follows Renako Amaori, a former social outcast who tries to reinvent herself when she starts high school. Her quiet plan derails when two of the school’s most admired girls — Mai Ouzuka and Ajisai Sena — unexpectedly confess their feelings to her.</p>



<p>The blend of heartfelt romance, awkward comedy, and sharp self-reflection quickly made the anime a standout among Summer 2025 releases. With the sequel now announced, fans can expect the drama of unspoken feelings and unanswered confessions to intensify.</p>
