<p>Crunchyroll continues to expand its summer 2025 anime lineup! The streaming giant has officially announced it will simulcast <em>With You and the Rain</em> and <em>Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Play!</em> for fans worldwide. Both series bring their own charm—one a quirky slice-of-life, the other a fantastical comedy.</p>

<p><strong>Story Synopsis:</strong><br><em>With You and the Rain</em> is an offbeat slice-of-life anime adapted from Jinushi’s popular manga. It follows a solitary salaryman who buys what he believes to be a dog, only to discover it’s&#8230; something else entirely. The story explores themes of loneliness, companionship, and life’s little surprises, all with a deadpan comedic tone.</p>



<p>Meanwhile, <em>Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Play!</em> (<em>Isekai Yururi Kikou</em>) is based on Chirolu’s light novel series. The show centers on a seasoned adventurer who is reincarnated into a fantasy world and unexpectedly ends up raising two adorable children gifted with divine powers. The series blends heartwarming family moments with whimsical fantasy adventures.</p>



<p><strong>Character Summaries:</strong><br><strong>Shiba-san</strong> (<em>With You and the Rain</em>)<br>The unnamed protagonist’s mysterious pet. Though its appearance baffles onlookers, Shiba-san becomes a source of emotional growth and unexpected joy in the protagonist’s mundane life.</p>



<p><strong>Takumi Kayano</strong> (<em>Otherworldly Munchkin</em>)<br>A laid-back former office worker who, after being reincarnated, adopts two young children and embarks on a slow-paced yet magical life in his new world.</p>
