<p>Seven Seas Entertainment continues to expand its manga catalog with four newly announced acquisitions, catering to fans of thrillers, romance, BL, fantasy, and isekai. Headlining the list is <em>Tonight, I Have a Date with a Serial Killer</em>, a tense and stylish crime series set for release in 2026.</p>



<p>This wave of new licenses was revealed on Wednesday, June 5, 2025, and includes titles across multiple genres: suspense, boys’ love (BL), fantasy slice-of-life, and steamy adult drama.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Story Synopsis</h3>



<p>The flagship license, <em>Tonight, I Have a Date with a Serial Killer</em> (<em>Konya mo Serial Killer to Machiawase</em>), written by Kon Iguchi with art by Yūji Nakamura, follows police officer Shiro Isogai. Haunted by the unsolved murder of his fiancée, Isogai relentlessly hunts serial killers in a crime-ridden city. His pursuit takes a turn when a mysterious informant helps him catch criminals—an informant who turns out to be a young woman, Kuroi Hinata. Together, they form an unlikely partnership, combining her &#8220;sixth sense&#8221; with his experience to hunt the city’s deadliest predators while seeking closure for Isogai’s personal tragedy. The manga is slated for release in March 2026.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">We Are Not Beasts (<em>Ore-tachi wa Kemono janai</em>)</h3>



<p>By Shoko Rakuta (March 2026, Seven Seas BL Label), this high school BL manga follows Onizuka Raita and his younger brother Fuuta—infamous for their toughness—who both harbor affections for Kazusa, a pretty omega with a strong sense of justice. When Kazusa’s first unexpected heat arrives, shocking truths about his fated mate emerge.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Fluffy Café in Another World (<em>Isekai Mofumofu Cafe</em>)</h3>



<p>Based on a light novel by Punichan (illustrated by Tobi) and a manga adaptation by Yū Takaoka. After saving a mysterious cat that turns out to be a god, salaryman Arima Taichi is reincarnated into a magical world with cheat skills and a rare &#8220;Tamer&#8221; class. Rather than seek adventure, he opens a café filled with adorable, fluffy creatures. The manga debuts in March 2026, and the light novel will release digitally in April 2026.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Perfect Addiction</h3>



<p>By Kaoruko Miyama (February 2026, Seven Seas BL Label), this mature BL manga centers on Akihito, a college student obsessed with sex and appearances, and Sae, a seemingly aloof man with hidden desires. Their volatile chemistry ignites after an unexpected encounter, sparking a charged relationship that neither can resist.</p>
