Story Synopsis
Akuyaku Reijō no Naka no Hito follows Emi Kobayashi, an ordinary girl who loves otome games. After a traffic accident, she finds herself reincarnated as Remilia, the villainess of her favorite otome game, The Star Maiden and the Knight of Salvation. Determined to give Remilia the happy life she deserves, Emi uses her knowledge of the game to avoid the villainess’s doomed fate. However, her plans are thwarted by the arrival of the game’s original heroine, Pina Blanche, who is also a reincarnated individual. Pina manipulates events to frame Emi for attempted murder and breaks her engagement, leading to Emi’s collapse. At this moment, the original Remilia, who had been silently observing from within, takes control of the body to exact revenge on those who wronged Emi.
